Quan is a Producer/Filmmaker and Community Leader with hands-on experience in television, film, radio, and event production.


Quan Lateef-Hill consistently sets high personal standards and goals. Motivated by service and human need, at the age of 15, Quan recognized the power of the media and set her sights on creating cultural balance and awareness through art. Born and raised in the Midwest and molded from an influential family of givers, teachers, and community leaders, Quan believes in doing good for goodness sake and creating events and programming that moves people forward.

After receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast TV & Radio Productions from Western Michigan University, Quan attended Howard University to obtain a Masters Degree in Film and Media Studies. To date, Quan has worked with many national and independent companies to include Discovery Communications, PBS, Viacom, MTV, VH1, BET Networks, and many others. Her professional level, hands-on experience in television, film, radio, live event production, development, and the overall creative process, add to Quan's versatility and capability for each project. Quan formed her own production company, Too Qute Productions, in 2009 to produce and create projects that expand current perspectives of women, youth, and people of color. Quan is also co-owner of Avenue.Pink an online network for multidimensional Professionals.

As an event consultant and producer, Quan has Produced and Managed numerous events, including the celebrated College and University based, Black Love Week, national high profile events for Viacom Networks, the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, the National and Michigan State NAACP, BET Networks, as well as private celebrity or corporate sponsored events including: the Derek Jeter Turn2Foundation Gala & Private Auction, the (untelevised) Black Girls Rock! Awards, the Allen Iverson Summer Celebrity Classic, Big Tigger Weekend, TJ Martell Annual Awards Gala, the National Council of Negro Women Black Tie Gala, the Fashion In Action! Tribute Walk, ESSENCE FESTIVAL 2014-2016, and more! Some notable events #ProducedbyQUAN through Too Qute Productions include Brooklyn's AFROPUNK Fest, The Blackhouse at Sundance Film Festival, and the traveling conversation series, MAD FREE: Liberating Conversations about Image, Beauty & Power, hosted by Michaela angela Davis. Quan is also one-half of the creative agency CIRCA 82, Producers of Sensory Overload LA.

Quan's goal in life is to use her God given talents to serve, enlighten, and uplift her community. As a multi-award winning volunteer and nationally-recognized philanthropist, Quan is dedicated to leading peers and youth into community service and giving. Characterized by true leadership, activism, and dynamic style, Quan Lateef-Hill is an influential factor in building positivity in the lives of others. She recently served on the Junior Board of Directors for Girls, Inc. New York City and volunteers with various other groups, including Black Girls Rock!, Hashtag Lunch Bag, American Cancer Society and Shine Society Mentoring Program. She is also the Project Director for the volunteer run organization FOR GOODNESS SAKE.

A self-proclaimed City Slicka, Quan currently lives with her husband between Los Angeles, CA and Brooklyn, NY, and is in pre-production on two feature film documentaries, as well as two untitled short film projects, in conjunction with consulting on several tv + film + web + event projects.
